Colorado CattleWoman of the Year

Sharon Clever, Routt County Cattlewomen

This year’s Cattlewoman of the Year is  Sharon Clever from Routt County.  She has been a member since 2016 and in a leadership role with the organization since 2018.  She has held the offices of Secretary, Vice President, and President.

Sharon is a solid member of Routt County CattleWomen.  She continually works within the organization to improve membership and promote BEEF and the agriculture industry. Sharon agreed to take the President’s role for an extra year and spent that time coaching the newly elected Vice President and figuring out ways to navigate through covid by communicating with members and the leadership team remotely.

Sharon was busy! She distributed “The Kindergarten Rancher” to schools in South Routt County as well as writing articles for the local newspaper about the Beef industry. She served as the liaison between Routt County CattleWomen and Steamboat Stock Dog Trials and provided leadership for the 2021 Meat-In-Day promotions and activities.

Her peers from Routt County CattleWomen said, “Lastly, she is a nice person who is lovely to work with and who has our industry’s best interest in her heart.”

Colorado CattleWomen are thrilled to congratulate Sharon Clever as our 2021 CattleWoman of the Year.
